This weekend is the big ol’ True Chip Awards gala in NYC, and we are proud to announce OUR SPECIAL Guests! In no praticular order:

tRasH cAn maN – This years best performance nominee is here to prove he is the best!
Peter Berkman – Standup from Anamanaguchi’s favorite funnyman!
Mark Denardo – Graffiti Monsters frontman solo performance!

This is in addition to our amazing Live act Lineup of Animal Style, and James Kochalka Superstar. There will also be performances from our host Glomag and music director, Oxygenstar, so check it out if you are in the area!

The Gooch Traveling show.

Anamanaguchi, New York’s preeminent NES Rock Quartet is on tour, and the media blitz is in full force. First is the above video from the acerbic pre-NPR pupii-hosted Bleep Bloop (via) and also in print with this feature at The Village Voice. This tour culminations at acclaimed geekgasm PAX, held the first weekend in September. If you cannot see them live, perhaps you can download a ROM of their direct ancestor, Comix Zone for the Sega Genesis.
