As 2008 draws to a close, TCTD stops and considers what we feel are the notable and exceptional releases, tools, and artists of the year. The process is based on user nominations, first hand experience and internal biases and were often very difficult to come to a decision over. Those not nominated should not be disheartened and those nominated but do not win should feel pride in knowing that they struck a chord within our editorial staff.
