Eclectic mix from the german multinstrumentalist Bit Trash Riot, 9 tracks filled with electropop melodies, imbued with the spirit of an imagined microcomputer from the early 80s http://www.archive.org/details/SonataForAFictionalMicrocomputer A short EP of lonely atmospheric songs about the rain. I can’t that imagine that it rains much in California though. It doesn’t seem to in The O.C. trailers anyway, or any of the west coast rap videos. Yeah, these songs are very mournful. A 30 min mix of pure 1992 amiga toughness. Here’s an excerpt from a short email exchange with the artist: “Always brings a smile to my face listening to those old tunes. I have a terrible memory but I can remember being unemployed, mixing that 500 Things… demo tape using my A500 and borrowed A500 running through a shitty mixer and mixed live into a VHS machine to record the Audio.” — Dante Jones
Andrew: This is the biggie. It’s been my baby in waiting for a good few months now. The serious one. The one I worked on to iron out everything into what I consider my greatest achievement musically. And I hope you agree!! Below is a link to a free five track version of the piece of work, however, If you can spare a dollah fiddy to lend a brother some love it’d be very much appreciated. What do you get for a dollah fiddy? The full dealo, the whole 10 tracks. Stream it if you want, download the free version or whatever, I just want this shit to be heard :) I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it!! |
