The show is based on a Korean MMORPG from Nexon, known in the States as Dungeon Fighter Online. Apparently, it looks, plays, and sounds nothing like this 8-bit homage, which makes me very unhappy. This video has more charm than 90 percent* of the Japanese RPGs released this handheld console generation.

It is imperative that you purchase this addictive puzzler, if nothing more than for its YMCK remixes of classic NES/Famicom songs:

Tiny Catridge has a review of the new “artstyle” game for the Nintendo DSi, PiCOPiCT. It is a puzzle game with a soundtrack from jazzchip gods YMCK. The best part is he recently unlocked and made available for stream a rad remix of the original SMB boss music. You can stream it here.
