I have started to add some form of a “sample channel” for the Sega Master System MIDI Interface. It’s always a tough choice between sample clarity versus sample volume (in relation to the other channels and in relation to inherent noise).

Sounds surprisingly Hi-Fi… Never would have thought this was possible on a Master System. Good job!
I have the feeling that in the recording I have added a low shelf of +3dB with a 48 dB/8ve slope below around 200 Hz to give it a little more bottom end, but besides that the sound is without effects. Although the difference is noticeable, the video still gives you an okay impression of what a completely dry video sounds like.
