CR3-1000: Chromix and Kris Keyser – Symmetry
Long Island chip master Chromix and New Jersey-based upstart Kris Keyser team up through the magic of the internets to deliver you Symmetry, an 8 bit, up-tempo, head bob-inducing 3 track EP. Testing the limits of their Game Boy sound chips, our heroes combine their powers for the house-on-speed epic Locust Manor, while spinning melodies and teched out rhythms stream in and out of solo tracks that open and close the EP.

A chunky great slab of epic relentless dystopian Game Boy techno. While it occasionally strays into hypermelodic territory, it is quickly saved by inventive sound design, some wonky mess and the sense of space that using two synced Game Boys can provide.
