The question is, if the GB emulation isn’t emulated.. how? Also the sound emulation for the other systems will only be as good as current nix emulators?

Will current Gameboy Cartridges work with this device? Yes. You can select which CPU it runs on.
Will you be able to run two copies of LSDJ at once? YES. You can have both side/side or toggle between screens.
