  1. Fantastic. Thank-you Random!

  2. I dunno why, but the ahx sound is always kind of lonesome to me..

Really nice tracks, where can you download the tracker?

Good selection of tunes! Some of my favorites, and some excellent ones that managed to slip by.

I’m pretty sure the guy (maybe the whole group?) behind AHX later went to make a commercial game boy music system used in a few GBC games with a sound distinctly similar (if there is such a thing as ‘distinctly similar’) to AHX, also offering services to convert existing tunes or compose entire soundtracks for games using the player. AFAIK it was never released publicly, but there was a music disk demonstrating the capabilities.

I can’t find any info on this any more, but maybe there’s someone here in the know.

  5. Claudio: Get it at Pouet: http://web.archive.org/web/20150921160937/http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=13329

Boomlinde: I only know that Manfred Linzner/Pink is now working as a professional vgm composer. He’s made great music for quite many GBC/GBA/NDS games (see Goto80’s link for more info).
Pink was somehow involved in the development of AHX tracker according to some sources, but I’m not sure. Perhaps he was mostly bug testing etc? I don’t know anything about Dexter.

Thanks for the info, guys! The programmer is most definitely Dexter/Abyss (Martin Wodok). I wonder if they are more interested in releasing the program now that the GB Color has probably done all it can commercially.
