  • 4mat – ‘Decades’

    4mat, a demoscene musician from the old Amiga scene, has released his first chipmusic album called ‘Decades’. It’s currently available on iTunes and will be making it’s way out to other popular vendors such as Amazon MP3, eMusic and Spotify over the next few days. A CD release is forthcoming.

    4mat posted this some days ago and fortunately someone made a little intro with it!
    Before you think this post is bullshit, you should realize the complexity of replicating such an analog and “human” sound like that of the vuvuzela with a synth like the SID chip. 4mat is a true master of the SID! And the whole intro is only 4KB. Nice Hires graphic too.

  • 4mat releases first teaser for ‘Decades’ album

    4mat is releasing his first chip music album at the end of June. Called ‘Decades’, it features all new tracks building on his experimental releases as The Amber Room and marie2, together with his more popular synth styles under the 4mat handle. The first (of three) teaser videos has just been released, each one will showcase a track from the album.
