TCTD Awards Gala This Weekend!

This weekend is the big ol’ True Chip Awards gala in NYC, and we are proud to announce OUR SPECIAL Guests! In no praticular order:

  • tRasH cAn maN – This years best performance nominee is here to prove he is the best!
  • Peter Berkman – Standup from Anamanaguchi’s favorite funnyman!
  • Mark Denardo – Graffiti Monsters frontman solo performance!

This is in addition to our amazing Live act Lineup of Animal Style, and James Kochalka Superstar. There will also be performances from our host Glomag and music director, Oxygenstar, so check it out if you are in the area!

TCTD Awards 2009: Best Live Performer

Live performance is a bit of a dirty secret in electronic music, and perhaps more so in chip music where far too many artist are happy pantomiming and summoning, and few have the talent or charisma to pull off a genuinely charismatic live performance. This list is far too short, as there were a number of great performers active this year, and those left off were done by the barest of margins. Here are the nominees for Best Performers of 2009.
